The Key Learnings

Definition of Functionality

The User Story is used to define a specific functionality (of any system, program, software, or use case) from the user’s perspective in a structured and comprehensible manner.

Modifiable at Any Time

The User Story can be expanded with additional information and details at any time, providing a comprehensive specification for all parties involved in the project throughout its duration.

Who, What, and Why?

The User Story consists in which it is clarified who (e.g., user, software, or system component) desires what (functionality from the user’s point of view) and the rationale behind it (benefit for the user).

Acceptance Criteria as a Completion Indicator

The acceptance criteria serve as a checklist to determine when a User Story is considered complete. This is a crucial element for implementation and evaluation within the team.
