Apache Superset and OGC WFS – Using Open Standards to Create Urban Intelligence Dashboards

Content

Apache Superset is an open-source business intelligence platform and a component of the CivitasConnect UDP Core. As part of the Connected Urban Twins funding project (BMWSB, KTS), the implementation of OGC WFS as a data source was commissioned and developed. This strengthens the geospatial component of Apache Superset in terms of open data standards.

Apache Superset OGC WFS-Schnittstelle

The Key Learnings

More geodata as a source

The development of the OGC WFS interface in Apache Superset strengthens the integration of geodata as a data source for charts and maps based on open standards.

Data analysis and visualisation made easy

Thanks to its enhanced geospatial capabilities and low-code functionality, this open-source software provides a robust technical platform for spatial data analysis and visualisation.

One platform for everyone

Apache Superset enables even local authorities with limited resources to create their own data-driven dashboards – without the need for in-depth programming knowledge.
